Raised in Paris suburbs, actor ISSA PERICA celebrated his breakthrough in 2019 in « Les Misérables », directed by Ladj Ly. 

Set in the commune of Montfermeil, the film is based on a real-life occurrence of police violence in 2007 and it received critical acclaim. At the Cannes Film Festival it won the Jury Prize and at the César Awards it won four, including Best Film. Among other honors, it was selected as the French entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards. 

In addition to acting, Issa Perica still goes to high school and he enjoys playing football and basketball with his friends. He also has a big film culture. His dream ? To play in an action movie.
